Born from a barber's chair.
They call me Six. 66eyez was born from a barber’s chair. Every month, when I went to get a haircut, he was there: a gentleman from the neighborhood who sold glasses on the street. He’d lay out his goods and I’d go home with a new pair. I don’t know how he did it, but it worked. Because a pair of glasses is never just a pair of glasses. It’s the detail that changes an outfit, that enters a room before you do. That’s what streetwear is: it comes from the street and gets you noticed. One day, watching him work, I thought: if I were his son, I’d take it all online. He wouldn’t have to roam the city anymore. One Sunday, I told a friend. He looked at me and said: “Bro, let's do it.” The next day, 66eyez was born. From the street, for the street.

Why 66eyez?
6 has always been my number. I used to go by 6ix, a name I always found cool and easy to remember and pronounce, and on the street I was SIX: “6” was my number. When I created the brand, I doubled the 6 so I wouldn't have the same name on two profiles. And “Eyez”? That comes from Tupac: “All Eyez On Me.” Because this brand doesn't just sell glasses. It wants all eyes on you.
